Tahoma 31 is the #1 ranked bermudagrass for the transition zone.  There is no better performing bermudagrass available today.  Tahoma 31 out-performs all other bermudagrass varieties in virtually every category; cold tolerance, low water usage, turf quality, early spring green-up, shade tolerance and wear tolerance.  Tahoma 31 is dark green, low growing and has a fine leaf texture.  Tahoma 31 produces some of the strongest sod we’ve harvested in over 30 years.  Its tensile strength cannot be matched.
